When developing aptamers, we employ the SELEX strategies previously used to identify current FDA-approved aptamer therapeutics.

SELEX Library preparation

We provide high-quality, custom designed libraries that have been succesfully applied for aptamer selection against a wide range of targets. Our libraries are fully compatible with PCR, reverse transcription and incorporation of modified and unique nucleotides ensuring seamless integration into your SELEX process. Additionally, our libraries are optimized for straightforward NGS analysis allowing for efficient downstream processing.

Custom and exploratory SELEX

Tailored to meet the specific needs of your project, our custom SELEX services offer a complete end-to-end solution. Whether you require a fully customized SELEX or targeted support for specific steps, we can deliver precisely what you need. For many projects we also offer cost-efficient and rapid exploratory SELEX, enabling a quick assessment of target feasibility or SELEX conditions, minimizing risk and ensuring viability.

NGS analysis

Our NGS analysis service can enable comprehensive sequence analysis of SELEX pools from different selection rounds. We monitor the enrichment of individual sequences, identify conserved motifs, and track the overall progress of the selection process. This in-depth analysis allows for informed decision-making and helps to refine your SELEX strategy for the best possible outcome.

Aptamer production

We produce individual aptamers and aptamer candidates from your SELEX experiments as well as already published aptamers at small or large scale by RNA transcription and PAGE purification. Using engineered RNA polymerases we can incorporate a wide range of special modified nucleotides to enhance stability, affinity, or other desired properties.

Aptamer engineering

We offer advanced engineering to design aptamer variants able to meet your exact specifications and applications. This includes:
1) Truncated minimal binding motif variants
2) Variants with sequence extensions for hybridization
3) Multivalent constructs for bispecific binding or enhanced binding and specificity

Aptamer conjugation

We provide conjugation services, allowing you to add functional groups such as albumin, fluorescent probes or biotin to your aptamers, as well as a range of reactive groups.

Target binding confirmation

To ensure that your aptamers perform optimally we offer target binding assessment by BLI (Octet) or FIDA. This enables batch quality control post production or confirmation of compatibility with modifications, providing comfort that they are ready for your intended application.
